THE CASA DOVA PROJECT WON THIRD PRIZE AT THE LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS 2012

The Casa Dova project won the Third Prize at the Los Angeles 2012 IDA International Design Awards: in a 17th century building in Nizza Monferrato in the Asti region (Italy), it aimed to combine the original beauty of the building with new techniques, in respect for the architectural structure. Small design details are rediscovered with precision and attention, also seen in two specially designed objects, the chandelier “Master of Light” and the big vase “Manlike” both designed by Alessandro Marchelli of AM+D Studio in Asti, Italy. Irregular shapes, warm and oxidized bronze floors, stone stairs, restored walls, suspended ceilings with curves emphasized by perfect lighting.
